Top Two Cheapest Business to start: Blogging & Dropshipping
Microfinance Industry

The best online service business to start is a Blogging in India

Before doing anything in life always decide on – “What are you good at right now?”. If you’re a good writer, you’re in luck, you can almost always make ₹25000–₹75000 per month grinding out the written content. You can go to places like Textbroker, Upwork, iWriter etc to get writing jobs in the $0.02-$0.03 per word quite easily. If you go that route, definitely reinvest any money you can back into learning your craft better so you can charge more money. For writing, you would want to reinvest in copywriting, SEO and content marketing. Those three skills pay far more than just typical article grinding, but it will likely take time to learn them.

    1. Enduring – especially with niche sites where earning money fast is a rarity, as this method is more of a slow burn.

    1. Learning – always be learning, and get involved in relevant Facebook groups with your peers with whatever service or skill you decide to learn. Many diamonds in these groups are often given away for free.

    1. Implementing – You can’t just be learning and waiting. This was a problem I had for a LONG time, and it can be hard to get over sucking thumbs. There is so much opportunity online that you almost get shell-shocked into inaction. Write a plan, commit to it, and work out it.

While it is true that India has several bloggers, however, the uncertainty that continues to linger is about whether or not these bloggers can adequately fulfil the consumption needs of over 200 million English Speaking Indian adults today.

The reality that most Indians, such as the traditional middle class, are generally risk averse, makes it a herculean task for an average Indian to start up on his own when they need it. It has been reported that only 1% out of the 55% of writing adults in Indians have been able to write and produce a Story from general and other formal information.

How to market content and create a niche space for you

Create an Instagram account with the following cheat bits: The content targets a niche market related to wisdom, wealth and wellness relationships—quotes are a pretty popular way to get started, but for wellness, you can also images of models, or can just be pics of attractive people

Create your bio using linktr.ee and include a link to an affiliate marketing site (you can find those on ClickBank or Shopify Affiliate or Amazon Associates, I’m not affiliated with either). Affiliate marketing is sort of like advertising the product of another business; when a sale is made, you get paid. Simple as that

Set up an Instagram automation (I suggest SocialPilot or Later) and follow the rules of 7 namely 1. follow/unfollow 70 accounts per day, comment (if you like) 70 accounts, and post 7 times per day.

So what happens? You are engaging with another Instagram user either through the tool following them, liking them, or seeing your content. They find your link in your bio and click it. The link leads to a sales/landing page. They purchase whatever is on the landing page. You get paid a commission from the affiliate.

Now the most important thing to focus on: What sort of metrics to expect: “You won’t grow if you don’t measure!”

For Example, If your account grows by 700 followers each month…And your daily click-through rate is 0.5% (half a per cent)… And the conversion rate on the site they go to is 1%…And you get paid $25 per month for signing them up (this is an affiliate commission payout)…Then in 12 months once you have 16,000 followers, you’ll earn over $2500/month in cumulative commissions (affiliate pays monthly). How much work does it take? Set everything up takes about 7 hours to get the account up, the tool running, and the images loaded. How much does it cost to do this?

Social Pilot or Later roughly costs about $25/month.

The images (especially quotes, and models) you can buy in bulk from someone on Upwork or Fiverr in bulk. I’m guessing the average Photoshop whiz can probably do 45 photos like this per hour—you need about 2,000 images for a year—and the low-end rate for work like this is probably about $5/hour in India, so about $250 for all the pics

And that’s it. You just created a $30,000 annual income with a ~$600 investment. Hell, do the work yourself (the follows/likes/etc) and make the images (if you can do Photoshop pretty well), and it’s almost free.

The best online product business to start is a Dropshipping in India

Headf about the crazy trending Dropshipping Method? No?
Dropshipping as a Definition: The idea of selling stuff without having to keep anything in-house (in your warehouse) or buying is termed as Dropshipping… Still confused?
It’s a method or a business objective where you would set up your eCommerce website with all the products that you want to sell also known as Dropship without having to purchase.

    1. Identify your theme – Pick a theme that you want to promote or sell—for example, Android and iPhone Mobile cases. Now: Head over to Alibaba.com and look for all the possible vendors. Make a list in an excel sheet with all the Vendor names, URLs, Products, Images and Prices. Make sure to stay organized right from the beginning. Pro Tip: Make a list of roughly 70 SKUs (Give your potential clients several options).

    1. Purchase your domain – Purchase your own domain. You can head over to GoDaddy or Namecheap and grab a name for your store (XYZ.COM or XYZ.STORE 0r XYZ.IN).

    1. Make Shopify – Head over to Shopify and sign up for the Basic Starter Plan. Now you have the full time to step up your store and integrate it with your domain name. Once you sign up, Shopify will provide you will the step by step instructions.

Now upload all the products, URLs, prices and images on your store. Shopify is extremely easy to get going with initially. To upload 70 products, it will take you roughly around 7 hours including lunch :).
Now it’s time to get logos and other parts of the branding. You can head over to Canva and get a Brand kit with a subscription for a year around ₹4000. You can schedule using Canva or Instagram automation tool (SocialPilot or Later)

Now, Let’s see what we have spent till now: Domain (₹1000) + Shopify (₹1500) + SocialMedia Tool (₹2500) + Canva (₹4000).

For instance, you have INR. 50,000! 🙂 You would currently have a net sum of ₹40,000 :). Once you have your eCommerce store up and running, use that 40,000 on Facebook Ads, Google Adwords etc. Make sure to measure your total spend, cost and profit/loss.

If a product is costing you ₹250 and you are selling the same product for ₹340 then your gross profit is ₹90. In order to remain profitable, your cost of acquisition per customer shouldn’t be more than ₹30 in all your months.
